Galeria 195

Contemporary art gallery set up in a colonial house from the 18th century, in the historical center of Itacaré: awe-inspiring beach resort on south shore Bahia, pioneer region of cacao and setting of Jorge Amado’s novels.

The two floors layout features three exhibition rooms and a hallway that leads to a lush and cozy backyard, where you can enjoy freshly pressed juices and original vegan food at Café Bizarro. The second floor is a loft-like space, reserved for the work and accommodation of international artists-in-residence.

Galeria 195 also curates an exhibition space within the TXAI resort, where are co-organized the Mêses das Artes (Months of the Arts) in August and September.
